How does BOND work? BOND gradually reduces a participant's Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits—$1 for each additional $2 earned above a specific dollar amount. This reduction replaces what some refer to as the "cash cliff" or the total loss of benefits if earnings exceed the specified amount. Learn more.

Enrollment in BOND has been completed, and applications can no longer be accepted. However, the BOND project will continue to operate for enrolled participants. The BOND Call Center remains available to provide support services to BOND beneficiaries and to assist them with any questions that arise.
