Part 2 of 3

How would Julie's benefits be affected by earning more if she was not in BOND?

Under current policy, if Julie earned above the blind SGA threshold of $1,690 per month after her cessation and grace period months, she would no longer receive any SSDI monthly cash benefit. Her total income would thus be her earnings of $2,600 per month. If she was not in BOND, she would thus have less income working full-time than she would if she continued with part-time hours.

Future Monthly Income Under Current Policy
Earnings $2,600
SSDI Benefit $0
Total monthly income $2,600
